Ask Izzy is a multi access point for many different emergency needs or requirements that people may need including Homelessness, Financial Help, Food, Transport and much more.

Community Resources is here to make a difference. We create jobs that care for people and planet, we keep waste out of landfill, we grow and distribute fair food, and we provide community service to those who need it most. They do this to make the world fairer and life better. 

We run three environmental repair social enterprises – Green Connect, Soft Landing and Resource Recovery Australia – and a range of community services. Last year we provided jobs for 684 people across Australia, 76% of them experiencing barriers to employment.

Offering guidance and support in times of need. This includes:

help from specialist staff
referrals to other services.
If a person is getting a payment from them, they may get:

extra payments to help in a crisis
advance payments.
Everyone can:

talk to their social workers
attend a financial information seminar
get advice to help manage their money.
The Payment and Service Finder can help people in your community find services in your area. They can also see what payments they might be eligible for.

They also offer help for those who:

are homeless
are in crisis or need special help, for example they’re in severe hardship or recovering from a disaster
are affected by family and domestic violence, need help with managing money.
